NFF is pleased to announce the addition of Glen Carter as the director of Technology Services. In his role as Director of Technology Services, Glen will be responsible for overseeing the continued optimization and operations of network engineering, service delivery, customers’ solutions operations and maintenance, and internal information technology systems. Glen previously worked for NFF on the District of Colombia’s Wide Area Network Team and has rejoined us in the corporate office to manage the engineering team and Post Sales implementation.
Glen has over twenty-five years of experience in the design, deployment, management and optimization of networking systems and data communication operations. Glen started his career in the United States Marine Corps where he spent 8 years supporting cryptologic communications and has received a variety of technology certifications throughout his career in the areas of networking and network management. Prior to joining NFF, he was Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Allied Telecom Group LLC, Washington, DC. Prior to Allied he was the Deputy CTO for the Government of the District of Columbia, Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) where he was responsible for the citywide network, telecommunications, server infrastructure, security infrastructure, mainframe, and desktops. Prior to the DC Government, Glen held key positions with Mentor Technologies, a top tier network consulting and training company and First Union National Bank.
