February was a busy month at Networking For Future (NFF), with two events at the Cisco office in DC.
The first event was a comprehensive lab session focused on the industry’s broadest portfolio of integrated Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) solutions – SourceFire AMP. This interactive lab session provided a hands-on configuration of Cisco’s latest security technologies. It was designed to help our clients understand how to use AMP for Networks and AMP for endpoints for performing analysis and simple custom detection. It covered the configuration and management of the products utilizing the SourceFire AMP console and the Defense Center.
The second event was an in-depth presentation on Open DNS, Cisco’s latest acquisition and enhancement to their comprehensive suite of security services. Open DNS prevents 2x as many threats across ALL devices with no hardware to buy and no additional latency. Our clients should leverage this proven 100% uptime, cloud-based DNS intelligence service that also provides Incident Response teams with expanded scoping capabilities.
Please contact us if you want to be on the NFF mailing list for the next event, a presentation on NetApp’s Altavault including a Washington Nationals Game!
