NFF has been awarded a multi-year contract from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) to provide a wide range of IT Services to the Commission’s Information Technology (IT) Team.
WSSC is a bi- county agency in the State of Maryland that provides water supply and wastewater treatment services to residents and businesses in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. Since 2008 NFF has assisted WSSC with the architecture and implementation of network communications. Responsibilities included administration, engineering, architecture, project management, documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of WSSC’s network and telephony infrastructure.
NFF has assisted WSSC in procuring and implementing a new data center network architecture based on Cisco’s Nexus platform. NFF’s Lead Solution Architect who holds a CCIE level certification, lead the network engineering effort to plan and execute a seamless transition procedure involving a phased migration. Currently NFF is engaged in implementing Nexus 7K platform to provide interconnect capabilities for their multiple data center High Availability Roadmap.
