WASHINGTON, September 22, 2020 – Networking For Future, Inc. (NFF), a performance‑focused IT business solutions provider, today announced it has been awarded a United Medical Center (UMC) contract for IT network infrastructure solutions and IT professional services. As the only public hospital in Washington D.C., this contract supports modernizing and re-architecting the UMC network infrastructure to meet the needs of UMC medical personnel and the growing patient population.
United Medical Centers’ goal is to affirm the hospital’s commitment to developing innovative IT strategies and real-world solutions to improve the patient experience. UMC also wants to leverage the information technology (IT) investment to improve performance in business operations, administrative management, safety, and security.
Under the contract, NFF and its partner, Integrated Electrical Technologies Corporation (IET), will completely redesign the UMC network, while upgrading and/or replacing the switches, routers, and cabling. In addition, NFF is leveraging their professional services team to enhance the engineering design of the new network.
